In a remarkable display of dedication to pioneering research, the Villum Fonden has paved the way for groundbreaking discoveries. This year, the esteemed Villum Experiment Programme is granting a substantial DKK 97 million to 49 exceptional research projects. In the face of intense competition, this program received 406 applications from universities across Denmark.
Let's meet the three esteemed grant recipients from DTU Nanolab, who will be creating new job openings for their awarded projects:
Michael Seifner, Postdoc: Awarded DKK 1.99 million for his project, "Nanoscale Imaging of a Photocatalyst at Work: What Comes After the Light?". Embark on a journey into the depths of scientific exploration with him. You are encouraged to contact Michael Seifner.
Pritam Banerjee, Postdoc: Bestowed with DKK 1.99 million for "Stabilization of Few-Atom Metal Catalysts in 3D Nano-Cage Architecture for the Conversion of CO2 into High-Value Hydrocarbons". Join him in a mission with profound environmental implications. You are most welcome to contact Pritam Banerjee.
Kristian Mølhave, Professor: Endowed with DKK 1.99 million for "Imaging the Driving Force in Electrochemistry". He will soon be opening a position and is currently seeking individuals, preferably with experience in transmission electron microscopy and electrochemistry, who are interested in joining the project. You are encouraged to reach out to Kristian Mølhave.
The Villum Experiment Programme, born from a commitment to support pioneering research in the technical and natural sciences, challenges the status quo and encourages bold exploration of uncharted territories. Unlike traditional research endeavours that seek predefined solutions, the projects funded by this program have the audacity to unravel the mysteries of the unknown.
