PhD defence by Mads Lützen

On Friday 31 May 2024, Mads Lützen will defend his PhD thesis “Catalysts at Work - Characterized with Transmission Electron Microscopy”. In his thesis, Mads Lützen investigates thermal heterogeneous catalysis with atmospheric pressure transmission electron microscopy and automated segmentation images. Catalysis allows for the conversion of chemicals into potential future chemical energy carriers, e.g., methanol. Such energy carriers are vital for the transition towards renewable energy sources.
