Building projects

There are approx. 400 researchers who use DTU Nanolab's facilities and the maximum capacity of the cleanrooms and laboratories has been reached. There is a need for new, up-to-date laboratories and tools if DTU Nanolab is to meet demands from collaboration partners or to launch major research activities.

New cleanroom

Nanolab Phase 4

DTU is constructing building B346A with new state-of-the-art research facilities. DTU Nanolab will expand its facilities with an approximately 700 m2 ISO 4 cleanroom, designed to house the latest generation of nanofabrication equipment.

Nanolab PolyFabLab

PolyFabLab will enable PDMS processes and Polymer printing in a 140m2 ISO7 cleanroom. The new lab will utilize an open floorplan with direct view bringing the cleanroom experience closer to our guests and students.
Soft matter lab

Soft Matter Lab

The soft matter facility is a 104 m2 biosafety level 2 space equipped with instruments dedicated to the preparation and imaging of biological and other soft matter samples via electron microscopy. The facility offers characterization possibilities to guests and students.
